IMF Bentham chairs University of NSW panel on Competing Class Actions

UNSW CLE Class Actions Conference
IMF Bentham’s Chief Executive, Australia and Asia, Clive Bowman will chair a panel discussion on Competing Class Actions, as part of an upcoming Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Seminar convened by the University of New South Wales (UNSW).

The panel will comprise Professor Michael Legg of UNSW, Odette McDonald of Phi Finney McDonald and Peta Stevenson of King & Wood Mallesons and will examine the practicalities and implications arising from the current competing class action landscape.

The half-day Seminar will cover numerous key issues that determine the conduct of class actions, including a presentation exploring security for costs considerations, the impact of litigation funding and After The Event Insurance.

The CLE Seminar on 22 March 2018 is an initiative of the IMF Bentham Class Actions Research Initiative. Tickets to attend the CLE seminar can be purchased on-line from UNSW.
