Corestaff NT Pty Ltd Class Action
Background
CoreStaff is a labour hire company. In 2011, a number of employees accepted a 3-year fixed term employment contract with Corestaff. These employees were then on-hired to Corestaff clients at mine sites in Western Australia. In November 2012, Corestaff terminated the employment contracts of these employees. In November 2018, the class action was commenced by Levitt Robinson Solicitors.
Current stage of case
On 26 August 2022, the Federal Court of Australia approved the settlement of the class action in the amount of A$6.4 million . Further information about the settlement will be notified to Group Members by Levitt Robinson Solicitors.
